still stings.. but not as bad as it did the last 2 days... that is so long as nothing touches it in that spot.. whe something does (even a light brush) hurts like someones stabbing it with a knife...

Have you tried covering it with something that won't stick as it heals?
yup... stupid thing fell off so i just been leaving it off... itll just heal naturally and slowly.. ill get a pic later.. eating atm...
had one of them giant bandaids on it loaded up with neosporin originally...

If you keep it covered and loaded with neosporin...trust me it will feel much better, because if it starts to dry out it will hurt more and crack and start bleeding again....
It's not worth leaving it exposed until the scab is ready to fall off.
Just buy lots of band aids and if it falls off find a better way to put it back on....I know it sounds like a pain, but it will be more of a pain literally.....

Nice, how clean was the piece that gouged you...that looks pretty big...watch the edge along the cut for red or swollen...for infection and keep it clean....

You will have a scar from that I'm sure.
tip of needle nose pliers... was trying to pull a spring into place putting the drum brakes back together when they slipped and went right at my arm.... lil rusty but i tend to keep them clean.. and had my shot couple yrs ago.. theyre supposidly good for 10yrs so aint worried bout that...
aint red or swolled..
itll fit right in with the one right next to it.. ya can almost see it there in that pic too... that one was from hot steel.. went to pick it up.. it rolled and one of the ears landed there... gave me a nice nickel sized spot at the time.. now the scars the size of a dime..
