van is used as my tool truck, transport tools to work on my other trucks and some side work as needed! |
The 4.2 engine is so small in a big van that I doubt it's worth too much expense or work to get a couple more hp out of it. Especially changing out the cats if they old ones are not plugged is not going to be worth it, IMO.
An exhaust is going to give you more power when you really wind it out, probably above 4000 rpm or so, so I wouldn't expect much real world improvement.
