Ohming the injectors only tests the harness under the valve covers. You have ohms or not.
My post was a voltage check. I do it before ohming it out. Old meters and some of the cheaper ones will croak or blow a fuse.

ok I did the ohm test glows plugs were as I did just change them.

I did an ohm test I found on here that tjbeggs out http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/66...ml#post5286089

here are the results
passenger side plug at fire wall I got

2.8 ohms
2.8 ohms

passenger front of valve cover

3.5
2.9

driver front of valve cover

3
2.9

driver back plug

2.9
2.9

I also inspected the harness going across driver side to IDM it all looks good.

Took off IDM and gave it a shake couldn't hear any water inside.

OK today I took off the injector harness that goes to the IDM change 2 pig tails at the driver side valve cover even thoug hthat side was fine cause it was running off that side but I did find to kind bad spot on the driver side between the front and rear clip looks like someone tired to do a fix before and glob some silcone in there so I cut that out soidered in new pig tails then I ohm tested everything everything came back good no OL so now to put that all back together.

Now can you test the solnoides on top of the injectors? what kinda ohms should I get ?

This is from Patrick Feeley
On each valve cover connection there are five pins. The outermost pins (pins 1 & 5) are for the glowplugs. They should not have continuity with each other or the center three. The center three are for two of the injectors in each bank. The ohm reading between each outermost injector(pins 2 & 4) and the center pin (pin 3) should be about 2 ohms (if I remember correctly. Pins 2 & 4 should also not have continuity with each other. The undervalvecover harnesses are just replaced as a "unit" if they are bad (there are 4 of these harnesses per truck, 2 per side). Does that help? Cheers!

ok I think I'm going to pull out my hair now. so now I removed all the wiring on top of the motor and OHM tested it all back to the IDM everything checked out fine. So I put it all back together and passengerside is still doing nothing I can unplug the injectors and no difference it the way it runs. so I do another buzz test and now I got more codes then I had before from the buzz test.

These are the results from the first buzz test

P0267
P1272
P1274

Now my new results

p0267
p1271
p1272
p1273
p1274
p1275
p1295

ANYONE GOT ANY THOUGHTS ON IT now?

Do you have oil pressure yet?? That needs to be repaired first IMHO.

No difference when unplugged:
The IDM may be shot. It has 2 circuits, 1 for the right and left banks of the engine. Try to borrow a known good one as a substitute before buying it.

Buzz test:
The scanner you are using is suspect: You are getting Rich and Lean flags at the same time. 1274 & 1275 (Bank 2). Not completely sure though.
