So far on my 1500 mile trip, towing 11K travel trailer, fighting a north head-wind for the entire time, getting 8.5-9mpg, regens are still averaging 650-700 miles. Pipes are turning black again after I cleaned them before the trip....might have to think about taking it in for the dfp, then again, it is running good.....

I pull a 12k fifth wheel and I am getting anywhere from 8 in a bad headwind to 9.5 with a light tailwind. My truck has just over 7k miles now and has the 3.55 gears and factory 18" wheels and tires. Towing I regen 150 to 250 miles depending on conditions. Empty I regen 350 to 500 miles.

My setup is totally stock, FX4 Crew, Lariat, 3.73 ratio. I always tow using the "tow/load" setting on the transmission, keep the air pressure in the tires at the correct setting - 60 psi or so on both the truck and trailer. If you are getting a REGEN every tank, that is too often on the highway for sure. On this trip, I got a REGEN about every 4th tank. Around town, I get one every other tank usually.

West Virginia to San Diego, Portland, and return with various points in between. Pulling a 15K fiver at 60-65mph with a F450 with 4.3 rear. Average 8.49mpg for 7350+ miles. Average price/gal $2.53. Low price - $2.09 in Ohio on 5/9. High $2.79 in Vancouver, WA on 6/15. On 6/29 fuel in Ohio was $2.63 at same station as 5/9. Quite a jump in less than 2 months.

I seem to get 1 regen per 300-350 miles not towing and definitely more frequently towing, maybe every 250 miles.

I'm getting ready to go from alaska down to oregon. GPS says 2900 miles. Pulling a 20' enclosed car trailer loaded with house goods. I have pulled it a couple times doing 40 mile runs. LOM says 8.3 at 55 and 8.9 at 60. Regen's were about 4 this tank and its mostly been highway driving. Not looking forward to the long haul with diesel at 3.50ish... I'll report once I get back to civilization.
