Bed rails?

Well a buddy of mine is wanting some new bed rails for his truck. ( (a dodge) i give him so much crap for it haha).

Anyways hes wanting some of the tube style bars. So i was wondering if there were certain brands that have held up good for you guys? Ive been reading that they just hold in from the holes on top of the bed rails. Do they stay in very well?

Thanks yall.

I prefer Stainless over chrome plate, especially on anything that will get scratched. Putco's line has been pretty good for me, I think the SSR was the less expensive polished SS bars. TrailFx had a similar line, but were at the same price point. The install is pretty simple, usually a rubber block with a metal plate under it. As you drive the screw into the plate, it draws the rubber block in and smooshes it outward. The pressure it exerts against the stake pocket hole is how well it holds. Some pockets are bigger than others so they don't hold as well.

Thank you very much. The purco's line is what i narrowed it down to before i even looked at this.

I found a pair of rails that are stainless with a chrome polish for 169.94 (tax, shipping, and rails) So thats what im suggesting to my friend.
