??? brake sensor ??

I have a 2004 F-350 and attached the the brake pedal is an electrical box with a wire running up under the dash. Two days ago something under there has been buzzing/vibrating. When the brake is slightly touched the sound stops..........or if i slightly move the electrical thing attached to the pedal. Any thoughts???

There should be a small plunger type switch right on the pedal's arm. It activates the brake lights and deactivates the cruise control. Unless it's making a short, I can't imagine it making a noise, maybe something is loose and causing a mechanical vibration. I would start by spraying some white lithium grease around the pivot points.
