Wheel Offset?

I'm in the middle of installing the Bushwacker Cut-Outs on my '89 B2. The drivers rear of the rig needs a bit of body work. It looks like I'm going to need to buy the wheels & tires before I mount the flares. (I just want to make sure the wheel & flare are centered) I'm going to run SSR 33x12.5-15's. What rim width & offset do you recommend?

I was thinking about 10" rim width but I'm not sure about the offset.

I'm lookin for this look..

Thanks for the help..

10" rim with 3 - 3.5" backspacing. Otherwise the tires will rub badly on the front radius arms. The most common ones will be 4-5" of backspacing, which is fine for Jeeps, not a B2/Ranger.

imho, If you are running stock axles that is way too much tire, especially the SSR (nice tires - I have them) for those axles.

I'll be running D35 & an 8.8..

I bought one Cragar Soft 8 wheel from Summit & it came today. It's a 15x10, 4" backspace. I was told on two other forums that running the Rough Country 4" lift, 33x12.5 & the Cragar Soft 8 (15x10, 4" offset) will work fine. ???? I only bought 1 to see if it would fit.. Now I'm not sure what to do..

I was going to do the axle swap in a couple months. The stockers should be fine for "on road" driving until then right?

I was also thinking about 1/2" spacers & longer wheel studs to fix the offset problem..

Stock offset it 4.5", so you'd want to adjust from there to a more shallow offset, probably around 3.5" at the deepest. I wouldn't run spacers, as they tend to put more strain on your wheel bearings - as does using a shorter offset wheel. You could probably run stock offset if you had a Skyjacker or Duff lift with the extended radius arms, as they are usually curved some to compensate for larger tires.

Welcome. Just want to add that if you don't have extended radius arms, you'll want them. Usually, anything over 2-3" of lift causes a lot of hate and discontent on stock radius arms, and the ride is usually rougher with 'short' arms, not to mention things can break because of the extra stress. Just some food for thought.

What are my options for the extended radius arms? I know James Duff, who else makes them?

Thanks
