Gas vs PSD

UH OH- lemme get the pop corn and a chair LOL...
Actually, there are several points that account for the extra cost on the sticker- more power (tq), better fuel economy, longevity (some over 1 million miles), higher resale value, sound cooler LOL, a lot easier and way cheaper to get more hp/tq out of a diesel than gas, you can roll coal into the yuppies car next to you at the light. I'm sure there's more others will add...

Now if you were truly interested, you would have stated your question, WITHOUT the "will never get a PSD...".

I agree with some of what you said, but a straight pipe v10 sounds pretty good.
The resale is higher on the PS, but it has more depreciation than the v10.
The resale is only higher because the purchase price is higher.
I have heard of 500K v10's they do last a long time.
What kind of MPG is this new 6.4PS getting?
from what I have heard it is about the same.
Yes, you get more tq, yes mods can be done for even more tq
but a v10 can put out 750HP with a supercharger.
BTW, rolling coal is the one thing we can not do with the V10.

I do not want to argue with you PSD guys, I just want to know More about how the PS compares to the v10.

Without giving any reasons whatsoever, the V10 is better. The PSD is a crap engine and should be scrapped by Ford. Ford should only offer their current 3V V10 in all vehicles, from Focus to F-Series to beyond. I think they should power the current space shuttle with the V10, but no matter how many letters I've sent to my congress persons and NASA they haven't accepted the idea yet.

sorry i dont mean to sound like an **** but my 7.3 psd will do anything that the v10 can do and imho do it better. i do everything with that truck from race to tow and would never consider a v10's fun factor to a 7.3's, i dont like the newer diesels as much but you can still get the power, miles, and mileage out of them and aint that what matters?
so if you can get that out of a v10 good on you im just in love with my diesel, particulary the rollin coal into the car with the window down next to me
