60 foot, 1/8th mile, 1/4 mile ? those are more universal numbers that are usually used... even 0-60 is suspect usually....

Remember this one particular user here who was selling his wares and kept redefining the norms of measurement !!! I called him on it and I almost got banned because he was a sponsor

Somewhat like me saying I have 300 more kulas than you at peak rpm !

( I don't know what that means either )
You've got an SCT tuner, right? You can go collect the same identical info.
This was flat terrain, and the datalogs shown in that post's link was a 0-60 run in dry weather empty (7000lbs). 50-70 mph is much more repeatable with a heavy load since you take traction issues out of the equation, and that's what you typically see for acceleration/passing tests.

Just took the time to read your linked posts JL...you KNOW some ****

I am far from knowledgeable....
haven't done a datalog on my sct since I first got it and worked with Innovative so he could learn how to tune it (guess I was one of the early adopters )

Will have to give that a try but
"Doing the math,that's 8.78-1.57 for a 0-60 time of 7.21 seconds."

that's not bad at all for our big buses !!! will have to see if I can replicate....

need to look for those time slips during my 8.9 eight.... IIRC it had something close to 60 mph - maybe the 330 ???? dunno.... but recall the 1.9 60 foot...

It's amazing what 4WD will do for traction,eh?
My Tbird pulls low 1.6 60's,and it feels like getting rear-ended by a garbage truck @60mph. SCT's LiveLink is the software you can use with your laptop to do datalogging and to view real-time data as you drive.

It does do it. I've written software (quick script in UNIX) to suck in the data and do 0-60 times easily without manually doing it. I've done lots of other stuff with the data logging also, it's a lot of fun

Don't they call for 5w20? V10's have very tight clearance in the mains & rods. Amsoil is good too.. It is too late BillIt is hard for a 40w to get to your valve train. Now your truck is only going to last 250,000
