Let me get this straight....

You read through 7 pages of this ridiculous thread, picked out my post (#94) containing an interesting tidbit of how a vehicle accelerates, read my statement that the V10 is a stout engine and praising Ford for offering it.... and you get hung up on me saying "3/4 ton" truck?

Dude! Did you read the crap in the other 93 posts before that???

Angrywasp is starting off with a positive reputation.
As I believe magazines do give slanted reviews whether it's cars, trucks, or motorcycles I'll line my truck up with a V10. Would like to see how they match up in the real world. I even have a 1949 Dodge we can throw on a car trailer to see how they do with a load. Check out motorcycle magazines when they do new superbike comparisons. Virtually none of them rank the bikes the same and they all get different horsepower numbers.

ATTENTION: I want all to know that this is a fun topic. We have been here so many times. I do like how we come up with different things to make our engines on top. Sometimes some take a piece of fact and turn it around.

You guys that have beer, send me one.

Less filling!!

Tastes great!!!

MAN, over 200 posts of this bukakke. I've always been a 1/2 ton gasser nerd, dipping my toe in the S/D world because of need (beeeeg boat)

I thought this kind of crap was reserved for Mustang v. Camaro, Aniston v. Jolie, cowboys v. indians, Hatfields and McCoys, Montagues v. Capulets, Balboa v. Clubber Lang, Tupac v. Biggee, Kanye v. Fitty, Yankees/Red Sox, Longhorn/Sooners, Roe v. Wade.

grandaddy loves him some DRAMA!!! (token 3rd person reference)

I'm glad I'm here! You crazy kids carry on. I'll just be over here driving what I want to drive and not giving a rolled up shizznit of what anybuddy thinks about it, being entertained by this glorious display of loyalty to a brand within a brand...veeeeeeddddy eeeeeeeeentersting

dernbernit, miller, you had to go there, pulling me directly into the fray....

Mine's modded, so I can't really put my dog in this fight. BUT, if I did, he'd bring about 400HP and 1,000lbs of torque to the party...

I feel like stirring the pot. That said...

I find it amusing that the V10 needs 10 cylinders to get done what a diesel can do with 8.

I'll be running away and hiding for a while
(PS... this is all in good fun... don't be going on a witch hunt for me you V10 owners... you'll never find me anyways )
