Kind of like comparing beer to water, isn't it?

Let the gas heads whine, I can't hear them over the clacking awesomeness of my diesel

Yep. Too much beer and you end up "in the shop" for a few days that you need to get repairs for and you need special fluid to return to function. And then the constant cycle repeats.

The water makes you go wee wee too much requiring frequent stops to fill back up but never causes too many issues.

Yea but the cool diesels don't clack too much anymore. They're nice and quiet as they've finally learned what's acceptable from their gas brothers.

Don't hate the life of the party

I was there. Yeah, it was called the '80s. Ford was President, Nixon was in the White House and FDR was running this country into the ground. I was bummin' in a hole-in-a-wall town in what is now called Utah. Some fella from Colorado shows up, starts making so called "improvements", right? Before we knew what hit us, the streets are running with latte. It got so bad that a fella that liked to, you know... smoke a little grass or drink a little ripple. Crow like a rooster, maybe challenge the mayor's son to a gentlemen's duel, was "uncouth, against God." More like bad real estate values. Stumpy had to go!

Love this thread!

Could use a few more gasser guys in here though, we keep losing them to the diesel side for some reason.

I've had both gasser and diesel super duty's and obviously another diesel on order. Every truck I've had from a '97 7.3 to a 08 5.4 to a '10 6.4 and the last super duty was a '15 6.2L. They all been great trucks. But for my needs now towing 20k pounds the diesel is my only option even if they were still putting a v10 in the 250's and 350's.
