sunglass overhead cosole

Hi folks, my first question. I have a 2002 F350 superduty. I've only had it a few days and the sunglass holder in the overhead console just snapped and fell out the other day. I bought a new one but was hoping someone could give me some tips on how to install it? Thanks for all and any replies. Cityworker

Hello cityworker. Welcome to FTE. Great site and great people will take very good care of you.

Did you buy to whole console or just the little door thing? I have an 03 so I am assuming it would be the same. I could take a look at mine if you can tell me what you need to replace. I think that console may just be mounted with those metal prongy things and it just will come off with some force. I could be wrong so don't go pulling on it until you get a little firmer answer.
