It will bond, mine did. i just used cheepie kinda stuff though.
Naptha is like a really weak paint thinner. acetone will work good.
You can use naptha on paint and stuff to clean it easily.

Alrighty I just finished hitting the surfaces w/the scotch pad, then 60grit sandpaper and then acetone. Everything is taped off and ready to go.
I have to wait until tonight to start applying the herculiner becuase it says under 95* for application. I am going to call herculiner and ask what will happen if the temp reaches over 95* hopefully nothing will happen and I can start applying now.

Dont sweat the holes for the 4wd shifter. You should make better ones anyways. I replaced the screws with larger ones and made sure they hit the proper holes, not the ones the moron on the assembly line made when he didn't put it in properly. haha.

I popped up my door seals along the bottom and bedlinered the wire tracks as well. That is a prime area for water to collect.
You don't have to worry as much as I do here in Michigan, but still something you missed. =)

I picked up some acetone that I was going to use to prep/clean the surface
How does naptha rank compated to acetone/MEK/Xylene? I have never used it.
I was actually wondering the same thing, I had planned on taking the stuff off until I found out how much it was stuck onto the floor. My plan is to apply the liner over the rubber (I already roughed it up w/the grinder) and see how it works out. If it doesnt bond...that will be a project for another weekend.
