Oversize is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
There are various threads on here about edge, Ive had them on 2 of them on 1 my trucks and its ok the other Ive tried 4 different edge chips and programmers and the edge stuff kept messing up the PCM thus needing to be reflashed or the physical chip to be removed to get it to run right after I installed there stuff. Their customer service is pretty bad. I had them all on a 7.3's of different years and dont know how they do with a 6.0 but I dont recommend them. Too much headache for too little gain. They are also known to be hard on trannys. Id recommend looking into a better brand more specifically get a custom chip they cost about the same and work better.

For a 6.0 you're either wanting to get an SCT or you are wanting to get the Spartan Phalanx, both offer custom tunes and starting with the 6.0 to current Ford trucks, you are going to want custom tunes on these trucks. Any of your standard programmers that you see in the magazines or see all the ads elsewhere for have a bad reputation and you're playing with fire and will eventually get burned if you use them on the 6.0.

7.3s can get away with a lot more then we can and I would highly discourage you from any of the standard tuners that you hear about and stay away from "shift-on-the-fly" those are the worst types for the 6.0.

SCT is the way to go for the 6.0L. The canned tunes run great and if you are looking for more, custom tuning is available.
