My step dad saw Raquel Welch at a Palm Springs resort back in late sixties or very very early seventies. She was by pool and he said she was nothing but scars and puckered globs of "flesh" from surgeries. He said she was absolutely nothing like you saw on posters, in movies or appearances. he said it was really a let down. My sister who has done lingerie for playboy shoots said that what guys see and what was really laid out on table are two different things all together. Stretch marks airbrushed on spot, clamps to hold fat thighs and arms at bay, then totally redone after pics are taken.
Liz Taylor was always beautiful when she was younger but her personality made her pretty ugly. Sophia Loren was absolutely beautiful even though she had many "flaws" she was so proud of.
That Sherry Britton was "natural beauty" and so it should be. I often wonder why stars of today cannot just be happy with who and what they are? I like that Sophia Loren never tried to fix the gap in her teeth or hide her stretch marks. Maybe because now a days if teeth aren't perfect, boobs are not implanted, body not a size 3, eyes a more intriguing color, no natural smile lines or wrinkles then guys wont look and women wont be jealous and want to be like her.
