Draw Tite Activator II for 2008 F150 4x4

I just purchased the Draw Tite Activator II for my 08 F150 4x4 crew cab.
The wiring is a bit confusing....I have 5 wires coming from the factory harness:

Brown: illumination feed
Red: Feed wire from battery
Green: stop lamp
Blue: Electric Brakes
White: ground

The brake controller only has 4 wires, with a splice for the "stop lamp"?

White: ground
Red: stop lamp?
Blue: Electric brakes
Black: feed from battery

I thought this was going to be "plug and play", as the truck comes pre-wired for this, having the XTR package.

Can anyone help me with this?

Is the agility proportional brake control by Hopkins any better?

My trailer is a 29" Jayco with electric brakes.

Thanks

Not sure about your wiring issue, but I replaced my Drawtite with the Tekonsha Prodigy.
The braking is much better know and you can buy the plug & play cable for it as well.

Prodigy is great.

Just ignore the illumination wire from the truck. The other four mate up correctly.

This is correct on both ends. Ignore the illumination wire and the Prodigy is superior to any other controller out there. I had an Activator II in my old F250 and hated it. Put a Prodigy in instead. Before you wire it all up, just put the Prodigy in there.
