Truck is back where it belongs! Dealer appears to have corrected the problem. I can go back to polishing and pampering, LOL

my new 2009 v10 did the exact same thing i pulled over at a rest stop and smoke started billowing out form under the hood and the side of the truck discovered oil on the passanger side cat as well and i was not even driving hard as i was curious to see what kind of milage i could get (110-112 kph top speed 19L per 100 km) my dealer blamed it on a poor job on the PDI from the dealer they transfered it from as they found some other loose gaskets and fittings that should have been checked

Seems like someone is not paying attention when these are being built. I also had another issue I had them look at. The truck drifted to the right too much like the front end was out of alignment. They claim there was a TSB on this situation and have corrected it. After I drive it a week I will post again as to whether they did in fact get it right
