hey guys, thanks again for all the tips and suggestions on my zf transmission. i have the trans apart and i have pictures, but i can't seem to figure out how to post pictures on this forum?

on the other hand, can anyone tell me where to get independent parts for a zf s542 manual transmission?

i need a 1&2 synchro assembly, 3&4 synchro assembly, and input shaft, FIRST gear and a funny looking bearing.

I believe you need to have 25 posts before you can use private messaging or post pictures.

Upload them to a picture sharing site like Photobucket, Flickr or Picassa copy the URL ending in .jpg and use the insert image option in the advanced reply window.

You should be able to create a gallery here on this site and insert them into posts. I'm not sure about what the post-count requirements might be since it's been so long since I joined.

Photos...

it's easy it insert an image... when you reply you can find a icon that looks like a little mountain with yellow background... You don't need IT!!!! To insert a pic first go get a http://photobucket.com/ account (FREE-NO SPAM) and then load your pics on there. Once you have loaded your pics to photo bucket you hold the mouse over the picture you want and copy the IMG code... Then paste it here... Once you have pasted the IMG code here, click submit reply the pic will just appear in the post. You are basically telling the post board to go retreive information from a different location on the web...

IMG http:// address of photo /IMG

That is what it should look like...
