as per my manual:
c-6 shallow pan= 5 qt (US)
c-6 deep pan = 6qt (US)
e4od--------- = 8.5 qt (US)
manual transmission = 4.5 to 7.6 pt (US) depending on the tranny
I believe all manual transmissions get filled to the fill plug though... someone correct me if I'm wrong

The manual says 7.6pts for a manual M5OD R2, but i found that using the whole 2 quarts (minus a little spillage) was much better. At 7.6pts, the tranny wouldnt shift into any gear at stand still. I had to turn off the engine. I topped it off by parking on a hill, and now it shifts.

Those figures have to be if you only drain the pan and not the converter. A C-6 from dry fill is something like 13 qts to fill it completely with the deep pan.

Sorry, typo on my last post, go up two replies. Obviously I meant 4 quarts (not 2 quarts) since 8 pints = 4 quarts.
