Tie Rod/Drag Link Grease Boot Identification

In the picture below the arrow points to the rubber boot that was pinched during the alignment on my truck after the installation of my lift. This boot is the one that is located below the steering knuckle and above the tie rod. Nobody can seem to tell me at the dealer whether the tie rod or the drag link ends include this boot so that I can replace it. I was hoping you guys could help me out and let me know which part to order so that I get the boot I need the first time around.

I would also be open to aftermarket options if any exist but I have unable to find them so far. This is for a 2006 F250 PSD.

Thanks for the help!

Boots are supplied with new parts and should be the same boot for any of the ball joints on the tie rods or drag links (The ball joints that tie the axle to the spindle are different.)

My thinking on them is, the rubber you get with them is cheap and kind of shoddy. I buy new polyurethane boots from energy suspension when I do them. Poly holds up much better and longer in my opinion. I don't have a current app guide to cross reference it, but here are the specs to order them by http://www.energysuspension.com/pages/tie_r.html

OK, so what your saying is that all 3 of the boots located on that assembly are the same and of the standard style tie rod dust boot? I guess I was expecting the ones on the drag link to have a different shape.

Does anyone have the part # from teh set of bushings they ordered laying around. I would prefer to not have to take this apart twice; although I will if I have to.

If one of the studs were smaller than the other, it would be a weaker link and the manufacture is concerned about liability. They'd rather make them all small than only one or two bigger. I remember that some of the one's I've messed with had no more than 1/8" taper. So measuring the threads at the top, adding ~1/8 and picking the closest opening would get you tho hole diameter. Measuring the dia of the housing will give you the other spec.

Ok Well I have identified that the boot in question does in fact come installed on the tie rod end. However every time I go to look for that tie rod end in one of the parts locations. It comes up with a different description or part #. Also the picture looks nothing like the actual part. Has anyone replaced the right tie rod end in the past and happen to know what part they ordered?
