Odd Starter

I just put a brand new 390 in my 76 f-250. Worked out all the kinks and have come to a stand still. As soon as I turn the key on, the starter kicks in. Pull the key out, its still going, pull the ignition off, still going. The only way to get it to stop is to unhook the battery. There is a new ignition in it, as well as a new senenoid. The starter is no more than 6mo old. If you guys have any idea's of where to look except for tearing apart all the wiring I would appreciate it. Thanks
