I'll post a picture later, when I get a chance to take one.

I'm not real worried about airflow. Knowing how these vehicles are validated and testing requirements used, I'd say that it should have plenty of cooling capacity to support towing it's rated trailer max under hot weather conditions, assuming that the cooling system is operating in its proper capacity. That's one of the reasons I had previously wanted to replace my radiator anyway - after 12 years, they aren't optimal anymore. Now I have a new one.

I should expect to be able to block off some of the airflow if I'm running relatively unloaded. I can easily put a stock grille on it when I have to tow or operate in hot weather. I'll keep an eye on the temperature to make sure it'll work and go back to stock if it appears to run uncomfortably hot. Under normal circumstances now, the temp gauge barely comes up off of the rest pin, partly, I'm sure, because I have a 180 degree thermostat.

You are correct about airflow. However, you should put in a 196 degree thermostat.

Here's the doubled air dam:

As you can see, it isn't overly obvious, at least unless you're standing right in front of it. I think I need to fabricate a support for it, though, as the lower portion is only attached to the urethane upper portion, and winds up being pretty flexible. I think that it must deflect a fair amount at highway speed.

Also, you can see that I lost my blue oval, haven't remounted all of my auxillary lights (which didn't help air flow through the grille either) and haven't painted the replacement bumper cover to match the original Sport-style silver lower body. I'm on the fence as to whether I want to do that or try something completely different that I've been kicking around for awhile. But for the short-term, I had to get the van back on the road, so I didn't screw around with painting.

So those air dams are actually functional?
