I think i'm being screwed

I recently had my spark plugs changed by the dealership. Now I have a bad coil that they want me to pay for. Is it possible that they messed up putting the new spark plugs in?

The coil was good before they did the work so it should be good when they finish. Get out the K Y.

How long a time was it between the plug change and the coil going bad? Did you see any symptoms of the bad coil or is it just something they are telling you? I assume they used Motorcraft plugs. What engine and what year truck?

they could of dropped the spark plug in the hole and closed the gap up on the spart plug causing a miss and they didnt pull the plug out and check it ,now they assume that the coil is bad.just a idea.

Joe Finn brings up a good point, if there was any time span at all between the end of the plug change and the start of the misfire, it was not the tech or shops fault. Just bad luck. If the only problem is a coil change it yourself, it's easy.
