Post shifter for a toploader RUG overdrive

Does anyone know of a shifter that fits a toploader RUG overdrive transmission, this is the 3sp with overdrive and I am putting it in an F100 with a bench seat and 240 six motor?

What type of shifter does it have on the trans now?
Does it come out of the top of the trans, or are there shift levers on the side of the trans?

Roger,
It has no shifter at this time, but it still has the shift arms coming out of the side of the trans case. I would like to find a shifter that would work out of the topcover like my NP435 or at least allow me to retain my bench seat. Craig.

I don't think there is any way to convert a side shift case to a top shift case. If you want to use that trans, you will need to buy a four speed shifter. I have seen universal 3-speed shifters for trucks. These are used when converting from column to floor shift. I'm not sure if anyone makes a universal 4-speed shifter for a truck.

I did a little research and came up with this:
http://www.racesearch.com/CGI/racesearch_ec.cgi?race_product_id=158334;descripti on_id=10853

It is designed for putting a car trans into a truck. It might be your only hope.
Good luck.
