Factory Metallic Blue's

I have done some searching and have had no luck finding any factory metallic blue's. I just looked through the paint chips online for '73 - '79 trucks and did not see any that were listed as metallics. I thought that I have heard of some guys using factory metallic blue.

If you want a good factory ford color, try 69 Mustang Acapulco Blue metalic.

Thanks Guys, that's the exact color I was looking for. When I was a kid, my dad had a '73 F-250 Ranger XLT 4x4 that he had painted that color. If I can find one in decent shape, I am looking to find the same year and model and paint it the same color. My pops is pretty sick and it would be fun to drive him around in a truck that is like the one he drove me around as a child. Thanks for the help.

I bought a 1978 Ford pickup brand new, in silver, but I considered the darker metallic blue that was a stock color. (I remember sitting in a blue one at the Detroit Auto Show before I bought mine.) It was not a really fiery metallic, and Ford did not clear coat their paint back then (my silver paint eventually fell off on the roof and hood), so all the colors looked kind of duller than we're used to seeing now. But definitely there was a darker blue metallic and a nice darker green metallic.

I think this link shows a truck in that color:

Edit--here's another one in that dark blue and silver as a 2-tone....nice combo. Big Broncos also were commonly seen in that dark blue:
