38 ford tailgate

guys i was looking for a tailgate and on ebay found a new one made in usa and much to my surprise was $100 less than anyone else with shipping from minn. to cal. i noticed on another item a name and number tom meyers? 608 835 8833 can anyone tell me if this is honest dealer? thanks
