I've been wanting one of these Lund rear deflectors for a long time. For whatever reason I found a new one on Ebay for only $52.68 + shipping. Must be too much stock and not enough owners. I couldn't resist any longer. I think they improve the lines on the Aero. I removed the luggage rack hardware ages ago.
Anybody have a picture of one on their Aerostar? I might consider it, but I also want to try to retrofit the 3rd brake light from a GMC Safari/Chevy astro van - all the better to see me brake with (I tow a tent trailer).
My new spoiler came today. I used the 3M tape that came with it. I'll paint it on the van soon. You can't see it but it is vented to help keep the rear glass clean
They say it fits all models. There may be enough of an air gap to allow for the light or you may have to trim it, I don't know for sure. The washer nozzle sits in the air gap fine if that helps. Next time I see a newer Aero I'll check.
I'm running 15" Explorer Limited rims. Found all 4 for $150 locally.
vango,
one Cherry Aero
the spoiler really sets off the back end, adds some flare. especially with that dark over white two tone.
i kinda like the out of the box flat black of the spoiler offset against the dark top. makes the spoiler more noticible and gives the rear some nice lines
you must spend hours cleaning and polishing those windows?
i can see my reflection in them 2 thousand miles away
