Cab Lights

Not sure this is the right forum, lots of them to choose from here. Anyway I really want to put cab light on my 2008 F350 so I am looking for others that have added them for some advice, I like the factory look or similar. Mostly how what is the best way to get the wires to the head light switch so they come on with the rest of the lights. I wonder if there are wires already up there if that option would have been selcted on this truck. Thanks

We tried to avoid drilling holes when we could. The only set I remember installing, I think we could mount the lamps right against the window trim and we ran the wire under the trim to the door frame. Around the door, under the A pillar to the headlight light switch.
