Use a transmission jack and chain the tranny to the jack! It aint no fun watching the tranny fall off the jack, as a friend of mine will attest to! Just lucky no one got hurt! Loosen the pressure plate bolts one turn at a time, going in a star pattern, and mark the position of the plate relative to the flywheel. If you can unbolt the tranny from the bellhousing to remove it separately that is what I would do. Don't start this job until you have the proper clutch alignment tool. Be careful not to get grease on the clutch or flywheel, and THOROUGHLY clean the flywheel before reistalling the clutch. Do not use compressed air to blow off the clutch parts (they may contain asbestos fibers). Take your time, hurrying causes accidents and mistakes. It's not really that bad to do, it'll probably take you longer to replace the seal.
