the temp sensor threads into a fitting that threads into the top of the block, this fitting also has a small hose fitting above the coolant fitting. The threads going into the block are leaking. What is this fitting called, and where do I buy one?

I think you are talking about your ECT housing. You will have to make a fitting out of plumbing fitting from the local hardware store if it needs replaced, as I think someone on here mentioned that Ford doesnt supply it anymore.

 

or you can get one from the junkyard

 

Or, if the threads are just leaking a little bit, you can goop them with RTV and thread it in and get a couple more years out of it.
