You've got that right. Thanks to the American public for wanting a truck to ride like a car for that. It's the worst thing that they could've done to a truck.

I drive ford diesel cause my 97 f-350 7.3l gets 20mpg and can move an house. I love it. It has 230k miles and just the normal wear and tear items I've had to replace. Built Ford Tough. Enough said there.

I am a Ford guy. I have a 95 F-350 with over 220,000 miles on it and everything except the cruise control works perfect. I have a 95 GMC van and the interior is falling apart, the doors don't close properly and the passenger side power window doesn't roll all the way down. It only has 105,000 miles on it. My findings are Built Ford Tough.

I was a die hard chevy guy but after replacing 5-4l60 trannies, and a notable autozone list of busted front cv axles and just about every other 1/2 ton part I could get. After the last truck I decided that I might need a heavier duty truck. I looked at them all and I don't like dodge they look cheap and poorly built. The chevy trucks are getting worse and cheaper like the dodge. I didn't want a ifs truck and well.... I am still not sold on a for gas engine. It really became a no brainer for a 3/4-1 ton truck with a solid axle and not a dodge..... I now love my powerstroke and will buy another one next go round.

I bought mine because I'm a Ford lifer. I do look at all of the trucks all of the time and keep up with what each manufacturer is doing regarding upgrading their trucks. Regardless of what the other two have to offer, I still don't think that the total package can hold a candle to Ford. My '05 has been a fantastic truck and I didn't buy it because of the Navistar engine. I bought it because it is a Ford and the total package trumps GM and Dodge in my book.

The clearance lights on the 05+ mirrors! LOL!

It is a nice feature, but the solid front axle and heavy duty capabilities were really important.
Also my dad had the 7.3 and I liked that truck alot.

1. Because of the Blue Oval on the grille
2. Because it's Built Ford Tough
3. Because I am die-hard Ford
4. Always wanted a diesel & the 7.3 is legendary
5. If it wasn't a diesel, it would be another Ford engine

Never really cared about the different brands, but when I was in the market for a truck, the Ford was the only one that looked like a truck. For some reason, the pillars in the Dodge appear huge to me making it feel like a huge blind spot. The Chevy's just look weird to me, the lines just don't look right.

I was actually looking at the Nissan Titan before I settled on the Ford F250, that and I had a friend that was GM at the dealer where I got my truck. And Nissan couldn't match what I was getting.

Because buying a Dodge with a Cummins is like marrying an ugly chick.

She runs good but you still have to look at her.

No thanks.

I've ever only owned one other pickup that wasn't a Ford and I was fed up with it in less then two years, Was made by GM(garbage motors). I, as of now will not consider any vehicle that is made by a company that took money from the tax payers.
My wifes car is also made by Ford and will be replaced with a Ford product based my our experience with it.

I have my Ford SD because I hate GM and Dodge and neither make a true heavy duty truck. The Navistar engine wasn't a major player in my decision.
