Explorer center bore measurement, and CV's?

For those who have Explorer rears already, can any of you provide the center bore measurement?

Also for those who have picked up Crown Vic donors, can anyone provide the brake dimensions, and backing plate bolt patterns?

"The sun did not shine. It was too wet to play. So we sat in the house all that cold, cold, wet day."

I'm wondering if my Fairlane wheels will fit.

scott i'll have to go out when i'm a lil' more alert ( it's 2sumpthin ' am ) and measure the backing plates . but the wheel bolt pattern is 5 on 4'1/2 . theford car pattern used mostly for years .so i think they'll fit .brakes if they are drums come in too varieties ( to what i gather the vics are pretty much the same from the square body to the end of the run of the bubbles underneath ) : 10" x 2 1/2 and 11 1/32 " x 2 1/4 " . the diff was the same width inside of backing plate to inside of backing plate as the 44 in my 53 also .this is the one outta the 87 i parted . an 8.8 diff . now then one of ya's answer me a question . my axle code is Y . where the hades do i find a chart to decipher what i got ratio wise . believe it's a high 2 series .............

Thanks a bunch. I measured 2.56" on my Fairlane wheel. A small sleeve may be in order.
