chasis paint and rust prevention??

Ok guys I'm getting ready to get back into the restoration mode. I'm getting ready to box a c channel frame up. I'll also blast frame to bare metal because of some rust spots and whatever else I find along the way. My question is whats a good chasis product/coating for this that actually works. I'm gonna do it myself at home. I read and see lots of good stuff advertised but I'm not up to date on these products. The truck is a 1970 ford crewcab 4x4 if anyone is interested. My friends think I'm crazy but I see what it can be with a little hard work. This isn't my first time just not current on some of the product available that really work and don't work. Any info is welcome and talk to you soon.

I used a product called 'chassis-saver',available in aluminized silver(UV protected) and black..nonUV protected..the black will fade a little to a dullblack/grey.I also blasted the frame, wiped it down with a degreaser/wax remover and sprayed it.Came out looking very good and 'tough' after 2-3 coats.Label states you can brush it on also.Good Luck!

Chaosracing is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
I use POR15 with great sucess. It can be spray applied or brushed on, but I have found it coats better if spraying it on.

Checked out the photo's Nice. I like it when someone does something a little different than the average buildup. Its cool when you take photo's of the kids and yrs later when you look at them again it brings back good times. Like the truck! Still haven't got my frame ready yet but soon. Hoping to spend some serious time this weekend on my project.
