I just talked to Clay and they are searching for a more family friendly campground. I personally appreciate this where J-L will be with me. If at all possible I would like to get a list of all the younger childrens ages that will be going so that we can plan a few fun events for them as well. I have a few ideas that we have done for childrens parties in the past that the kids love to do and the parents get a kick out of watching. The more youngsters the better!!!
This will be the event of the year for us atleast .

I was under the impression that we were going to be having pulls, but someone mentioned drag races earlier.

In my opinion drag races are overrated. Every diesel event ever has one. These trucks were designed to pull loads. Let em do what they want to do.

Anyways I'll be there come hell or high water.
Drag races are easier to plan and go to just go and run as of right now sled pulls are a little bit harder and more costly to hold NOW there is alot of county fairs going on in this area at that time IF people are insterested us locals could lead you over to one they generally allow open pulls I mean I have seen pictures of a V-6 mustang "hooked" to a sled and well just spun its tires LMAO.

JD is right we have a place but we are getting one more family friendly. I am going there today to verify it will be fine. We have permission for the dyno onsite as well. And it has 80 campsites instead of the 13 the biker place has. I just want to see it and speak with the man face to face and shake a hand to make the deal. Just the best way to do things IMO.

We will get a discount and we will be able to make reservations within a day or two. Please stay posted, you WILL be pleased, I promise!

I spoke with Clay last night on the way home from work, Neal's right... sounds like it will be a much better situation all the way around.

Update on my plans... I'm not sure if I can make it after all. My pre-planning efforts got shot in the head last night by some circumstances out of my control, so I'm going to try to just plan for it straight up. It may be a couple weeks before I know for sure, though. I'm really trying to make this happen because I'd really like to meet all you folks and put faces with the names.

ABSOLUTELY You can hold me to this. I am putting all my effort into this to make sure it is done and you guys are happy with the result.

Next we will be talking about campground activities, for kids and adults.
Megawatt I may ask you for assistance.

We will also need to coordinate the food. Gotta have it!
I like the deep south idea but we also need suggestions. Please PM me or post up recommendations. I don't care to coordinate this.

I have this covered Neil. I just need a list of ages M or F and a head count so that I can plan accordingly
