In desperate need of wiring help!

I'm in the process of trying to start my new engine (434 stroker) and the starter will not even turn over. It is a '78 bronco and no longer using the stock ingnition module and now using a Pertronix Ignition System. Can anyone provide some detail help in order to see if I have wired this thing up correctly? What I have done is use the white wire which came from ignition switch to the old ignition module and wired it to the positive side of the coil and from there ran a wire to the ignition side of the starter solinoid for a "hot" wire. Thanks in advance............

"Will not even turn over". That means the engine is not turning when you spring the key over to start? If that's the case, you do not have a ignition problem(yet). The keyswitch sends power to the neutral safety switch, and then to the starter solenoid on the fender, and this wire is red/blue the whole way. Once the solenoid on the fender gets voltage, then the starter will turn over.

About the ignition; I am not sure you used the correct wire, but to make sure, put a meter or a testlight on the coil +, and the other end on the engine block, and make sure you have voltage at the coil in the run position and the start position of the keyswitch.

Checked the voltage with the key in the run position and had 12 volts. What I was told to do was run the white wire to the coil and the red/blue to the solenoid (ignition terminal on solenoid). Per the wiring diagram the white is from the ignition switch and the red/blue is the neutral safety switch. I'm going to try these changes that you have mentioned here in about an hour. I will pass on some feed back. If you or anyone else has anything else to add by all means do so! I dont want to mess anything up on this beast!

Use a volt meter when you jump the solenoid across all the points and that will tell you if you have a bad battery cable (ground, power or starter) or the starter. If the meter reads any voltage you have found the bad point (part).

We are good there. Have new starter, solenoid, cables (all of them). Just think I'm missing something. Not even sure its wired right now!

What happens when you jump #3 to #5 in the diagram above? #5 is the "s" terminal which means start. I would not hook the red/blue to the "i" terminal, it needs to be on the "s" terminal.

Ok, that is what i have going now. The red/blue is going to the "s" terminal on the solenoid. You can here the solenoid kick in when you turn the key and the starter still will not crank. I tried to jump the solenoid from the battery side to the "s" terminal and still nothing! Just hear the solenoid click once and no starter engagement. Is there some thing Im missing? This starting to drive me NUTS! Thanks for all the help by the way guys!

As I said above go point to point with a volt meter.
Taking the diagram above put one probe on 4 & 2 and see if you get a reading when the solenoid clicks. If you get no reading then move to points 1 & 3 and then 6 & 7.
If you do not get any reading at any of the two points above then take the starter back and get another one.

You might also try point #1 to #7.
And by the way point #1 & #2 are the center of the battery post and not the cable clamp.
Point # 4 is on the engine block its self and not the end of the cable.
Point # 7 is the center of the stud on the starter and not the end connector.
