Grille
#2
Welcome to the wonderful world of FTE. How about a little introduction? Maybe give us a little info on who you are, what kind of truck you have, what your plans are....that sort of thing.
I think there might be some slight differences with the grills from the two trucks that might get in the way. I think its mainly with the lower valance panel and how it attaches to the fenders but I'm not 100% certain. Hopepfully one of our "frigerator" experts will be along shortly and can give you a better answer. Here's a couple of pics, It looks like it won't work;
1958
1960
In the meantime, kick back, do some reading and enjoy the site

It looks like the 57 and 58 would swap
1957
Here's a 59 as long as I'm stuffingpics in a post;
1959
From the looks of it the 57 and 58 will swap out with each other and the 59 and 60 will swap out with each other but the 57/58's will not swap with the 59/60's unless you swap the fenders also

The hood dips down on the 59/60 and may interfere with the 57/58 grille.

Bobbytmn, I'm in the process of buying a 1960 stepside. I was looking for a 58 but found this one at a good price. No motor, trans or interior. I'm going Chevy drivetrain anyway. I don't like the grille thats why I asked about a 58 grille. Looks like from the answers I can use a 59 grille and I can live with that. I've built Chevies all my life and I wanted to do something different.

Very cool.
Be prepared, some people on this site will give you some grief for the chevy drivetrain. Personally I don't care, heck, its your truck, the only person you have to please is yourself (well, and maybe the little woman...lol)
I'm running a 500ci Caddy engine in my 49 and I have parts from all of the major manufaturers covering all the decades from the 40's up through the 2000's.
Back in high school I had a 60 F-100, short wide bed Custom Cab with a chrome grill and a big back window. I ended up converting it to 4wd.
Good luck with your truck

I have a late '59 f250 which came stock with the '60 stlye grill. Someone at some time put a '57 hood on it which I think makes the truck. I love the look of the '60 grill but hate the pig nose hood they came with and this hood just makes it right IMO.
Far from being done but here's and idea.

'59 & '60 valances
Just to add.......
The problem with the lower valances between the '59 and the '60 has mostly to do with how the front parking lights mount.
The '59 lower valance has parking light housings mounted on the top of it. It also has a louvered "finished" look to it, as it is visible.
The '60 lower valance has an "unfinished" narrow look to the top, as it normally gets covered by the lower grille section. The parking lights mount directly into the lower grille on the '60, instead of the valance.
The headlight buckets are slightly different too.
Other than that, swap both grille & valance and you'll be good to go.
Hope this helps.
