Thanks for the compliment Steve. It is unbeliveable the looks and thumbs up you get driving this thing. Most people that like these year model trucks didn't even know that a crew cab was made back then. They are amazed!
Maybe a few more pictures to help out.
And also--the thing that I love to point out is that other than the frame and tailpipe welding, I did the entire truck myself, engine, body work, frame, paint, everything. That makes it even more special when someone says good job.
That's a clean engine bay Todd! It must've been fun rounding up the belts and pulleys for that one. In V8's I tend to cheat, setting them up with a serpentine belt every time...
It's why I'm partial to Windsors and 302's.
Rick! Hopefully we'll see yours in the next round. Start looking for it just when this rounds poll gets close to the end. I jumped the gun this time by about two hours, but will try to keep them right on schedule.

That sucker is easing up, but not letting go. I am becoming annoyed by it...
Yet it isn't the first like this I have ever seen. A thing most people never think about is that when a Carrier with 5,000+ people aboard deploys they come from everywhere in the USA. East Coast, West Coast, NORTH AND SOUTH!
And every piece of junk cold, sniffle, or tummy rumble that they have where they are is shared by the air recirculation system to everyone else in that societal cross section - KERBLAM! Some of the worst colds I ever survived were about two weeks out on a deployment. So it kinda sounds familiar to me....
I wish I could remember if the old saw was "Feed a Cold - Starve a fever" or the reverse. I do know to get lot's of rest and fluids!
Fat chance with a "Bucking Lawn Bronco" and "Atilla the Tiller" to run every week....
~But I digress.
"Doggone it, I am so pathetic. Even if I don't have a current job, I make enough to keep my house, myself, and my dog - I have a ford truck running good, and two project vehicles, plus all the tools that a man could want in a lifetime. I'm also debt free except for the house note! I ought to dang well just shut up and be thankful...."
Besides - what I did to get that any man should JUSTIFIABLY be proud of! I am US NAVY RETIRED
Man, I was asleep at the switch - there will be representation from Explorer Nation in Round 4...
Nice rigs. Made it tough to cast my vote but I have.
