I was on ebay today and noticed these chips that install on your iat sensor wiring harness that are supposed to improve performance by changing your air fuel mixture. Has anyone tried these and did it work or just a waste of money.

 

It makes the computer run open loop which is richer than normal. You cen get the same result by simply unplugging the sensor.. but it'll throw a code. In both cases fuel milage drops and engine wear will increase if you drive it like this all the time.
