It was addressed by Ford, i had the same problem with my 08 F350, My friend is a Tech at a local dealership, he said it is a new frame design. My problem was low tire pressure, I added air to the front tires, never had another problem. I can let go of the wheel and go 80 down the highway hittis all kinds of bumps, never hops or pulls. I had looked into dual stabilizers for the front. Glad I didnt get them.

I thought the "death wobble" went back a lot further than the '05. My 2000 F-250 5.4 had it at about 100K. So bad my wife almost left it beside the road and took a taxi home. Found a right front caliper hanging up and put shocks on at the same time, fixed.

If all you had to do was "put air in your tires", you did not have the death wobble. Seriously, you have to appreciate the gravity of the situation, you have guys all over the internet, with countless threads on this subject, I think if you were in a room full of the death wobble crowd - you just might have been slapped upside the head. I say this in jest; however, I think you get the picture.

So, my dear friend, powder your nose and wear your best white wig for we shall have:

Pistols at sunrise....

Seriously, has anyone actually installed the WCMOTORSPORTS track bar kit? I'd like to hear a concrete example of where this has worked for someone.

Since my new tires were installed I randomly get what can only be described as my front and/or rear axle sliding out like i am on ice and seemingly some loss of control. I attributed it to potentially soft sidewalls on my new Cooper STT tires. Am I correct in my assumption or could this extremely uneasy feeling during braking and turning/lane shifting be attributed to the "DW"? I never noticed anything like that with the Conticraps, hence blaming the new treads, maybe they pronounced the problem?

My tires are only 6 or 8 ply and I was told that for a diesel you should have nothing less than a 10ply like Mickey Thompson's?
Has anyone with a 2008 F350 used this kit? http://www.superdutywobble.com/
It looks good but my god it's like $850.00

It looks easy to install at least. Maybe if they eliminated the engraving they could lower the cost a few hundred.

I would pay $450.00 or $500.00 but $850.00 is just too far out of my $$$ range

Exactly, if it wasn't so cost prohibitive, they might actually get some real sales going.

I've been a member of ar15.com for over 10 yrs, good place, good information. I always do research there before making any purchases.

Picked up a Kaiser Defense lower last week. Company had a lot of local history and when I heard about them closing shop I ran out and bought a lower.

New to this forum and my first post. I have an 02 f-350 2wd and have "death wobble" at around 45mph under braking. I do suspect my rotors to be slightly warped but the slight warp seems to induce the wobble. I went to a tire shop for an alignment and they wanted a grand to repair and align the truck. They said the bushing on the I-beam was wore out. My question here is if anyone know of a "kit" with the appropriate bushings and stuff to rebuild the front end. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have had the coopers now on two trucks. I put the dual stabiliers on both trucks. While the coopers are E-rated 10 plys there is a little more give on the sidewalls.
