where is the pcv on 2002 f150 4.6l there is a hose coming off back of intake going to small round plastic tube on passenger valve cover but do not see pcv am i overlooking the obvious?
there should be something sticking out of your valve cover with a hose going to it, and a line of some sort going around it with a clip around this line that keeps it connected to the pcv valve, pull the valve out, pull the clip, replace the pcv valve, replace the clip and put it back into the valve covers.
thanks for the replies mine is a little different than any i have seen it is on the passenger valve cover but it actually screws into valve cover found a picture of a replacement online that gave me a clue
That's the picture i've been looking for for my description.
I took that picture when I was trying to figure out what the tube that is clipped to the PCV valve is for. Best that I can figure out is that the tube is an engine coolant line but I still don't know what purpose it serves exactly.
