2009 FTE Online Championship ROUND THREE ENTRY THREAD
Alright - we are now on ROUND THREE! Post up your pictures to enter, here is a recap of the rules:
1) Contest open to all model and year Ford Trucks (includes vans, SUV's, All Wheel Drive, all levels of customization, etc)
2) Number of entries in each round limited to the first ten who enter a round. If after two weeks have passed there are less than ten but more than one entries, the entries for that round will close and the deciding poll will run anyway. If there is only one entry it wins by default and moves on to the CHAMPIONSHIP round. (If there are NO entries I have failed!)
3) TO ENTER - post a picture of your truck in the ENTRY THREAD for that round at least 640 by 480 pixels in size (no links to other sites. Picture must be displayed in thread) Avoid extremely large images, please. (1024 pixels largest side of image). Huge pictures may interfere with some connection speeds. ALL images will be tailored to size by committee to fit in the first post in the poll threads
4) RULE OF OWNERSHIP: You must have owned the truck AT THE TIME YOUR PICTURE OF IT WAS TAKEN to enter it. You may not enter anyone elses truck FOR them. No exceptions
5) CHAMPIONSHIP RULES:
The first place finisher in each round qualifies and is entered in the CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND.
After ten regular rounds, the CHAMPIONSHIP consists of the first place finishers from the preceeding ten rounds running in a "Best of the Best" contest.
6) VOTE MONGERING: You may enlist your buds and chapter, other groups or whatever to vote for your entry. HOWEVER - be warned that all of the polls are annonymous, and your buds can always vote for someone else. There is no way to know! SPAMMING the forums should not be done at any time for this purpose, be careful what you do...
7) Once a poll is up for a round, it will be active for exactly 14 days. These polls close by themselves and whoever wins does. If for some reason there is a tie - a tie breaker poll will run until the following sunday night at the latest. Local midnight is based on Central Time in the USA.
8) NON-EXCLUSION: Employees of FTE and/or IBI welcome to enter including moderators or other unpaid affiliates as well as sponsors of the site - and all FTE Users
9) REPEAT ENTRIES: Out of sportsmanship, it is asked that if you want to enter a following contest, enter no more than two in a row. After waiting for one in between, you may enter again. THIS WILL NOT BE ENFORCED! It is a request, in order to give others a chance
*First place finishers must wait until after the CHAMPIONSHIP round for obvious reasons.
10) PRIZES: 1st place winner in each round will recieve a free one year paid membership to Club FTE, which provides access to extra features such as the Club FTE Members Only forum. Those who already are supporters will be given a twelve month extension to the membership they already have. (For the Championship Round we are considering passing the hat to purchase trophies - this is under development.)
BACK TO BACK - just like I promised! Let the fun roll on!!!
An interesting side-note, the thread headers are now made out of pictures taken at FTE Get Togethers by different chapters Coast-to-Coast. The above was at Dover Air Force base last year in the shade of a C-141 Starlifter.

Chapter meets, car and truck shows, you name it.... Many chapters have done "Cruise In's" at Sonic and the like. It's a blast! I've never yet met someone from FTE that I didn't like.
I see we have TWO entries now - and they are both lookin' razor sharp!

Heh, Get Together.. I knew that. LOL.
Wolf, what do you drive? I don't think I've ever seen your truck.
I've got an '89 Ranger four banger five speed. I set it up oddly because of the backroads around here. Maybe I'll sneak in a picture at the end of the entries this round - I felt I shouldn't enter a contest that I made happen.
Shucks, if by some miracle I WON it would look mighty suspiscious....

You're in charge here, aren't you? Go ahead and post a picture of your truck. It's not like you're entering it in the actual poles.
What do you mean you set it up oddly? I bet it's not as oddly set up as my rig. I'm the jerk who lifted a 2wd and did exhaust work to a six banger!

I had a challenging road course to go the short way to work every day for a while, so I tired it for sports handling. Slightly wider than stock, better rubber, it needed a lift in the back to clear a set of 235/60's, and the front eventually went real low profile. The back ones are Eagle GT-II's, and the front ended up being Kumho's
I don't know where a picture of it is AT right now.....
