460 geardrive timing set?

Is there any benefit of installing a Gear-Drive timing set?

Makes it easier to change cam timing for race or performance use.

For street use, no advantage. Possibly a disadvantage in some cases. And a headache if you get the straight-cut gears that whine. Some would call that an advantage.

gear drive----

I know for my 97 460 that gear drive is not an option due to computer issues. there is an old blog on this forum that sites crower as a place to get a good chain set other than stock. I think I am just going to to schucks and buy the most expensive option. My factory chain has 98,000 on it, with no problems. I am not an expert by any means
