Rancho RS9000XL

I like them just fine. Keep in mind, they are adjustable, which is a big selling point, but, getting down on the ground and turning those little red ***** is a serious pain. They are more like "find the setting you like and leave it there". As with most everyone else, I had to choose between the Ranchos and the Bilstiens. What sold me on the Ranchos is the much larger diameter tube and rod. It didn't hurt that Rancho had a rebate going on and cost significantly less, either!

I found the setting I like for the front and leave it.
For the rear, I leave it at 2 (or 3) most of the time.
But, when towing my 13K 5th wheel I crank them up to 7 or 8 and they work great. But that setting is too stiff for me when not towing.
Rancho offers different rebates almost all year long. Rock Auto also had the best prices when I was looking. And they always have a 5% discount code floating around.

I think they are a great setup. I have them on my 08 and adjusting them between daily driving (most of the time) and towing was huge for me. Felt the difference after replacing stock. Wife had no complaints after putting them on and you know what they say... happy wife happy life.. most of the time that is.

I'm also debating this too. I don't haul much or even tow much so the adjustability won't do much good if i set them and leave them alone. Plus the 9000's are pretty pricey too.

The 'adjustability' feature still works if you set it and leave them alone, because, presumably, you drove around and adjusted them initially to ride better.
If you get 'regular' shocks, you just get whatever they give you. If you don't like it, you either live with it, or you have to uninstall them, return them and get another brand and/or model shock and hope it rides better for you.
It's like having 9 different shocks installed, and you get to pick which ones to use, without having to uninstall one set and install another.

They don't make the steering stabilizer in the 9000 series. I emailed Rancho and they said the 7000 front stabilizer will cause the truck to pull to one side due to it being gas filled. They said to avoid that you can go with the 5000 stabilizer
With Rock autos amazing price on the 9000s and the 100$ rebate, the shocks come to $55 peice (plus whatever stabilizer I go with)
