Try looking on Ebay motors. Search Ranchero, LTD II and Country Squire. You see used
items there at different times. I would also recomend car-parts.com.

When you say fender, I assume you mean the front fenders, not the rears, which are known as quarter panels.

There are three different wheel opening type mouldings for Ranchero's.

A) One type is a wide curved anodized aluminum moulding, that fits around the inside of the wheel opening (D4OZ16038C Right / D4OZ16039C Left).

B) One is a wide anodized aluminum moulding that fits above the wheel opening, has extensions on either end, one goes towards the door, one towards the front (D7WY16038A Right / D7WY16039A Left).

C) The Ranchero Squire uses a one piece wood grained fiberglass fender moulding that fits above and below the fender (D7OZ16250A Right / D7OZ16251A Left).

The A mouldings ONLY were used on 1974/76 Torino/Merc Montego's & Cougars, as well as 1977/79 LTD II (not LTD), 1977/79 Cougars.

B & C were used on 1977/79 LTD II's and Cougars.

LTD II's have the same vertical stacked headlight arrangement as Ranchero's.

LTD's have side by side dual headlamps.

The ones that I'm looking for are the ones that fit above the weel opening wide and anodized aluminum. I will have to check if it is riht or left side. Is this someting that you might have or know where to get one? This truck has them on the front and the back but I got one that is in real bad shape.

To clarify:

Type B are partial wheel opening mouldings, fit above the wheel opening and have extensions on either end. One extension goes to the edge of the front door, the other towards the front.

Type A just screws into the entire inner lip of the front fender's wheel opening, has no extensions. Resembles the letter C.

The front & rear wheel opening mouldings are not the same.

There are two types of rear mouldings.

D7OZ9729164A .. Right Rear Wheel Opening Moulding / Obsolete

Fits inside the lip of the wheel opening, C shaped. The front/rear mouldings are separate pieces.

No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.
====================================
D7OZ9729140A .. Right Rear Quarter Panel Moulding

This is a one piece side moulding, the wheel opening portion fits above the wheel opening.

No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

Thse two mouldings fit 1977/79 Ranchero's only.
