I checked the connections on the back and don't see any tears in the circut paper, or lose bulbs. any ideas? I did however go with the blue. It matched my aftermarket radio, and i love them when they are all lit.

The simplest way to diagnose your problem would be to move the LED from the temp/voltmeter side to the oil/fuel side and see if the problem moved. (How the heck did you get a voltmeter and not an amp Gauge?) If the problem moved then it is the LED and not the circuitry to it. I did a lot of work with LED’s in my 40 plus years in the electronic industry and have seen intermittent LED’s, so it can happen.

Is anyone using the 5x LED kit? Any pics since there's none on their site? For these they have listed green as well as blue/green as colors. Kind of hard to choose without seeing what they look like.

I had the 1 LED bulbs in my 78 and loved them! They are brighter than the stockers, if you remove the light filter. I dont understand why the dimmer wouldnt work, it worked on mine? Then again I only replaced the bulbs for the cluster light, and turn signals.
Heres a cheaper alternative:

I like the old green look via the ol' Tommy Edison way.

When installing the LED kit, are there blue little covers you have to do away with like there are for the lights/wiper slots on the bezel? Or is it just a plug in and there ya go type of thing?

Change JUST the two illumination bulbs, leave the rest original. Leds make the turn and hi beam lights way too bright and they aren't the problem anyway. I did the green ones and it is most excellence, first time I can see the dash at night in 20 years.

I just bought my LED's saturday (only the two illumination bulbs) and I'll be installing them today after I get off work. I was going to take a before picture last night but the lights were so dim they didn't even show up on the camera screen. The only ones they had at the store were Amber. So I'm leaving the covers in place and hoping yellow and blue make green. LOL even if it doesn't make green it'll still be brighter than what I had. I got the ones with 4 LEDs.

I've been hunting for a thread about this LED conversion. I just swapped out all my incandescent 194 bulbs out with the 5 led replacements. I tested them all with a 9v battery to make sure they worked and then installed them. Problem is none of them are coming on except the top light that lights up the little blue light about the speedo. Any suggestions here?

You know that they are polarity sensitive, did you try to rotate them 180 degrees and see if they work?

stick the old lights back in and see if they work, if not look for a broken path on the printed circuit board.
