Transducers for the old cable driven speedos???
I need to find a transducer for my speedo on my 79. I went from 3:55s to 5:13s & 39.5 boggers. The ring & pinion shops I talked to send the trucks to a speedo shop to be put on a dyno & recalibrated.Years a go you could buy these out of a magazine where are they now???
1979 F350,4x4,NP435,5:13 gears,Detroit locker in rear with hardened shafts,ABR in the front,360 with 428 crank & rods,390 HP heads,Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch,MSD Ignition,39.5x18 Boggers,bucket seats out of a Lightning,& a Southern Body that is perfect.

I think I understand what you have, you're trying to run your factory mechanical speedo from an electrical signal like a ring gear sensor, right? I saw a device at www.atrol.com that might be what you're looking for. Look for the product called "Cable X". Hope that helps.
