Anyone here around Orlando FL? I will be there week after next (6/20-26) for a training seminar.

 

Dave, I'm not close to there, but I sure would like to be there too.

 

It will be a real Geek Fest! A bunch of Engineers talking shop, I can't wait!

 

I'm over in Palm Bay, Fl about 1 1/2 hour east of Orlando.....

 

The seminar and rooms are at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando. Not being familiar with the area, wondering what is around and if there is possibility of GTG. I'll be stuck with a rental car for the time, but that has it's advantages as well since I don't have to worry about mileage.

 

Supercab, many years ago I used to fly into West Palm for meetings and training in Boca Raton. I think I used to stay in Deerfield back then, but you are talking > 20 years ago.

 

Im in Windermere, just outside of Orlando.

There arnt many members in this neck of the woods.

 

The hotel is about 30 min from my house, and about 15 from my store.

 

Automator: I think you are confusing MY Palm Bay with Palm Beach (which is about 125 miles south of me.
Palm Bay is about 85 miles due east of what I call Orlando proper, may be the 3 of us should try & get together while you are here?

 

I used to live in Rockledge & Melbourne back in the 90s. I REALLY miss FL...

 

I get in late afternoon Saturday at Orlando airport and my first agenda item is Sunday afternoon at 1400. The rest of the week looks like the sessions end at 1800. The rest is open.

 

The seminar at the hotel? Im sure I can meet up with one night during the week and grab a beer. Sat night is kinda hard for me, its my busy night.

 

May be one night during the week M-F after the seminar? a couple of beers sounds good!

 

Last night I went over to Orlando & met Dave, great guy-btw, we had dinner and talked about all kinds of stuff, not just trucks,(we DID talk about trucks) we wished that Chris could have come and joined us, we went to Bass Pro Shops (Dave wanted to buy a cheap rod & reel & try a little fishing today before he left) but we just missed the 9pm closing (sorry Dave!)
This was a real nice experiance for me even if it was just the 2 of us, I think more members should look up others when they travel, Dave was in orlando basicly all by himself......

 

i will be there pretty soon. I'm taking the family the Disney. Leaving 7/8.
