Does anyone know if there are slip on towing mirrors available for 08 expedition? Would 04-08 f150 mirrors bolts onto 08 exp? Would 09 f150 towing mirrors fir on 08 exp? Thanks.

 

the 04-09 F-150 mirrors are very close

But I'm 99% sure they won't work. I had my 2006 F-150 and my 2008 Expy together for about 2 weeks. I was looking at them, and the shape of the door part is slightly different.

The Expy is more pointy on the leading edge, and the F-150 is more rounded...sucks, because I was seriously thinking about swapping 'em out.


would be really cool if the Expy had the little divot cut out by the mirror like the F-150/Superduties...I miss that

These might work.

 

F-150 mirrors WILL NOT work,I had an extra pass side mirror left over from a small accident when I had my F-150 and looked into that idea myself, likeTylus said the mirror edge is nowhere close to the same.
I tried the **** universal fit mirror for all of 5 minutes.
You 'll be better off with McKesh mirrors, I have used them three times so far towing my trailer, much better visibility.

**** does not have a slip on mirror for our Expys. I've even called their hotline, and they referred me to their universal mirrors. Their universal mirrors sucks, but if anyone wants to buy a set of 2 that are new in the box, I'll make you a good deal.
I purchased some Hensley / Mckesh mirrors locally off craigslist and will be trying them out for the first time next week, they were most highly recommned mirrors if you can't get a replacement extention mirror or a **** slip on.
