I don't want to steal Clay's thunder by any means, and don't believe he would mind me sharing the same "teaser" info he's shared with me thus far, but his kit will be taking a different approach altogether when compared to what we've all known as the conventional Hutch mod. I know from talking to him that the design concept is solid and plan on being as close to first in line as possible when it becomes available.

Right now, he is scheduled to have the kit completed later this month, unless something kicks in to delay that unexpectedly.

He's just beign careful to make sure he has the system completed before going public with the nitty-gritty details

SPILL THE BEANS PETE!! LOL.... I definitely want to d othe hutch mod, because I gotta aftermarket 55 gal steel tank I don't need a harpoon, but it would be nice to drop the tank, clean it out some, and simplify things a bit.

I have one of those 2- filter systems on my truck a lot of guys use for WVO (waste veggie oil) conversions but for the life of me I can't remember it's name. I use a NAPA 3384 (IIRC) filter for my pre-pump filter. I think one of the most important things I have is a filter restriction (vacuum) gauge. Since I believe the 3384 is a 5 or 10 micron filter it can get clogged easy, but it's $19 verses almost $30-$40 for a stock fuel filter, which I never really have to change although I still do about every 10,000 miles. It's really easy to tie a pre pump filter into the system too- you can get just about any filter base that's rated for diesel on ebay, and pic what size (micron and capacity) filter you want to use on it. Even better if it has a clear filter bowl so you can check for water before it even hits the stock filter. I check mine every couple of days just for piece of mind.
