Hey folks, I have a 2000 F150 Supercab with a 5.4 and the off road package. Since I've had the truck it has always seemed to pull to the left. I've had multiple front end alignments done and it still always seems to pull. any ideas?
Have the alignment shop line it up to the right a little but.I had a Pete that drove just fine but always p wore the tires t like it was pulling to one side.Moved the alignment over a little bit and it took care of it
i had the same problem on my 02 screw when we first got it.
when i went to crank the torsion bars one of the bars was cranked more than the other one to start. this is after multiple alignments from fords. it may be something you'll have to live with because it may pull to the left but it's more about extending the life of your tires.

would that not cause uneven tire wear? if not it sounds like a good idea but will they know how much?
does the truck set level? pulls to the left with a driver in the seat. how is the spring adjustment?
well i can only tell when i'm driving it...lol...but i guess you mean when it's only me. no, it pulls even when there is another person in the rig. i don't know anything about spring adjustments.
it's most noticeable when in the left lane on the freeway (but does it everywhere else too but just not as noticeable). i know the lanes are pitched to the left which helps cause the pull but when i'm in the right lane (pitched to the right) it drives straight. and on surface streets it pulls left and i have to "hold it" to drive straight.
took it up to belle tire for an alignment (just got new tires so wanted that anyway). they said all they can adjust is the tow (sp?). they also said it may need a "cam kit" which i am told is an adjustable bushing kit. thoughts?
my belle tire can do a full alignment, the best place to go for an alignment though is your ford dealer but it's a bit more pricey.
the cam kit is just a new bolt with two offset washer on them. i had them out when i did the ball joints on my truck and truthfully i can't see how they work but they must do something.
well i have had the dealer do it. they are pricey as you say and even after it still pulled. why can one belle tire do more of an allignment than another?
Have someone follow you as you drive the truck and check to see that it is tracking properly. Watch the front and rear tires on both sides and check to make sure that they are following each other and not offset, It is possible that the track is off and is causing the pull and no amount of front wheel alignment will fix it, When I say track I mean the front tires are following the rear tires and not offset, If you take it somewhere with a frame alignment rack they can check it and possibly fix it if it is not too bad.
I am not saying this is your problem but it can cause the problems you are describing.
